About
AMANAH documents how humanitarian crises interrupt the continuity of people's lives, and organizes the evidence, needs, and possible response pathways around those disruptions — preserving dignity rather than presenting people only as victims.
Humanitarian Continuity
A crisis rarely affects only one part of a life. When education stops, identity papers are lost, or a family is separated, the threads that make life continue are broken together. AMANAH keeps every broken thread visible, documented, and answerable — anywhere in the world.

Core Principles
Human life, health, and dignity come first.
Help based on need alone — no discrimination.
We take no side in a conflict.
Our objectives are set by our principles, not by donors or authorities.
Every feature is checked so that sharing information never puts people at risk.
People are participants, never subjects of pity.
Designed with and for the people most affected.
We answer to affected people first — correction and complaint channels are open.
How cases are handled
Every case is recorded as reported, then screened and verified step by step. Verification levels are shown wherever information appears; allegations are never presented as established facts. Case details stay confidential by default and are shared beyond handlers only when necessary and with consent.
Reports default to confidential. Identities and exact locations never appear on public dashboards. Where sharing information could expose someone to harm, we withhold it. AMANAH is not an emergency dispatch service and cannot replace qualified humanitarian protection, medical, legal, or emergency responders.
Privacy by design and data minimization: we collect only what is needed to document needs and connect people to help.
How information is classified
AMANAH never presents an allegation as established fact. Every report carries a verification level and an evidence quality, shown wherever the information appears.
What we can verify: consistency of accounts, corroboration across independent sources, documentary evidence.
What we cannot verify: events we cannot reach, or contested accounts without corroboration — these stay marked unresolved.
Where AI assists with classification, translation, or summaries, outputs are labeled and reviewed by a human. AI never decides protection eligibility, medical, legal, or vulnerability determinations. AI-assisted actions are logged.
Errors are corrected transparently — material corrections are noted, and any decision can be appealed through the complaint channel.
AMANAH is an information and documentation platform, not an emergency service or an aid provider. It does not replace qualified humanitarian protection, medical, legal, or emergency responders, and it cannot independently verify everything it receives.
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. AMANAH is an information and documentation platform — we cannot dispatch aid and do not replace qualified humanitarian, medical, legal, or protection responders.
